TERMS & CONDITIONS
The below details everything that you should know as a consumer who is planning to buy from zwaap.online. If there is anything that you are in disagreement with, we urge you to not place any orders from this website. Every single transaction will abide by the policies stated below. It is highly advisable that you enquire with our sales agent before making any purchase. Whenever there are any policy changes or updates, we will display a notification message or a small banner on our website home page.
WHO CAN ORDER FROM ZWAAP.ONLINE?
1.1. Anyone who is 18 years and older – persons who are over 13years can only use zwaap.online if they are permitted and are under their parent’s supervision.
1.2. Anyone who can read our terms and conditions with a clear understanding is welcome to partake on this website.
1.3. If you have concerns not stated in our terms, please message us for further details and clarification before you order.
COMPLETION TIME FOR MANUFACTURED GOODS
2.1. Most of our office chairs and other items that have to be manufactured from scratch take 8-12 days to be complete.
2.2. Contact us to confirm completion time for other unique (rare) items or bulky (20+ items) quantities as they may take more days to complete.
2.3. If you need expert advice on the manufacturing of products tailor-made to your own needs, depending on the item, an hourly consultation fee may apply.
DELIVERY ARRANGEMENTS
3.1. Some of our items are delivered for free and some have a reasonable delivery fee that you will have to confirm before making a purchase. After paying for items, you will receive a notice of delivery within 24-48 hours.
3.2. The usual delivery fee would range from R100 to R500+ if you live in Gauteng Metros and from a minimum of R250 for other provinces. Gauteng deliveries take 2-5 days and 5-8 days for other provinces. Deliveries may run behind schedule of up to 3 days. Contact us for urgent deliveries that can be organized at an additional fee.
3.3. For customers residing in apartment buildings, you will have to accompany the driver on the ground floor if your elevator is not working. We only deliver on ground floors.
3.4. We are expecting you to provide us with the correct delivery address and full details of the person who will be receiving the parcel on your behalf. Accurate and detailed addresses with additional directions must be provided as the GPS is not always accurate. For example, you may let us know about the color of your house, if your front opposite is a church, and a preschool next door.
3.5. You will be notified one or two days before your delivery, as well as on the day of delivery.
3.6. If the driver does not get you or your recipient, another delivery will be arranged for the next day or three days, and you may be held liable for the courier fees.
DELAYED DELIVERIES
3.7. Please keep in mind that our deliveries may have a delay of 1-3 days and we will notify you beforehand. We always strive to deliver all our orders within a promised time frame, under unique events where we anticipate delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you and request that you allow us 2-3 days to fulfill your delivery. If we delay further beyond 3 days, you have the right to cancel your order and get credit or refund.
FORCE MAJEURE
We will contact you to suggest a few possible solutions that are convenient for all parties. Force Majeure is an event where we would be unable to deliver your goods due to extreme and unforeseen circumstances such as a national strike, epidemic, national pandemic, natural disaster, government restrictions, and so forth. No party should be held liable for any losses or inconvenience impacted by such events.
ERRORS & PRICE FAIRNESS
5.1. We have thousands of items and we are bound to display a few wrong prices at times. Product names or features of the high-value item may be mixed and mismatched to that of the low-value item or product version; thereby, leading to mixing up the prices.
5.2. Should you notice or suspect that a certain price is not market-related or is 30-50 high or less, please bring that up to our attention so we can immediately rectify the price, unless we are running 30% off displaying on the item.
5.3. If you order such items, we can either request that you pay half of the difference instead of the full correct amount or cancel the order and refund you in full within 3 days. If you pay for items that were marked 30-50% higher than their market-related value, we will either offer you credit for future purchases or a refund.
5.4. This price fairness policy applies to items that are valued at R2 000 and above.
WARRANTY
6.1. The warranty of any and all products will be null and void if the serial number label is missing, damaged, or tampered with. The removal of “Do not remove” or “Do not break” seals and stickers will be subject to the same conditions.
6.2. Any products with visible signs of tampering or user-induced damage of any kind will have the warranty voided immediately.
6.3. The removal and replacement of factory fitted options or fittings with an aftermarket option, or fittings constitutes an alteration of the product and will immediately void the warranty of the product. Visibly damaged screw points and screws that show an attempt to open or tamper with/alter a product will void the warranty of the product.
6.4. Products damaged or rendered inoperable through electrical damage (power surges, lightning damage, and other types of electrical damage) unless otherwise specified and not protected by some form of surge protection, will be deemed to be warranty void in terms of guidelines provided by the manufacturer of the products.
6.5. Aftermarket and non-approved AC/DC power adaptors will not be covered under warranty and if found to be the cause of damage to a product, this will void the warranty of the product.
6.6. Most of our office chairs carry 5 years warranty, and some of our cheaper, lighter, and less durable material chairs carry a 2-3 years warranty. Our warranty covers labor to repair and parts replacements. Our warranty excludes normal wear and tear, overuse, and misusing the chair.
6.7. If chairs are used with care (used 8hours daily – 5 days weekly) and are well maintained, we guarantee 10 years of use and 5 years for small or cheaper chairs.
6.8. Depending on the type of item, our computer accessories and electronics carry between 6-24 months warranty.

IMAGES
Our pictures serve as a representation of what we are selling to you, most of our products will be delivered exactly as you have seen them on our website, and some will have a slight difference. The actual product may appear to differ in its darker or lighter color tone. Manufactures also change their package designs on regular basis. Even though the product size (except the measuring instruments) has a slight unnoticeable difference of an inch, rest assured that this will not affect the features & smooth functionality you are expecting to achieve from the item.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
If a particular item is out of stock, we will suggest a similar item to what you have ordered. We will also request that you give us an extension of 3-7 days to get and deliver your exact item, otherwise a credit or refund will be provided.
RETURNS POLICY
9.1. It is very important that you inspect the delivered goods before the delivery people/driver.
9.2. If someone will accept the parcel on your behalf, please instruct them to check if the delivery is correct before the driver leaves.
9.3. If all the item quantities are not delivered or your delivery does not match your order in any way, notify the driver so that it can be recorded in a delivery note.
9.4. The outstanding goods will then be delivered to you within five days at no courier charge.
9.5. In cases where your goods have minor damage, but you are willing to accept them as they are, kindly give us feedback so that we can avoid such in the future.
9.6. For rare or unique cases whereby your delivered goods have noticeable defects, immediately give them back to the driver for return and exchange. Message us immediately through our support form if you notice the defects after the driver has left. We would appreciate it if you message us within two days so that we can work towards resolving the issue. Remember to attach pictures or short videos in your message, we will then give you feedback in about 2 days regarding how & when the issue will be resolved.
9.7. Some category items like FURNITURE can either be repaired if the process does not affect its structure, have a negative impact on how it works, or decrease its warranty. If we cannot manage to either repair or exchange the item, the last resort would be for us to refund (excluding courier costs) you within 10 days.
9.8. The returned item should be in its original condition and packaging.
9.9. The return process will take 6 days to resolve if you are located within or near the major town and cities and 12 days if you are located in small regional town.
9.10. Reporting damaged goods after 5 days, will delay our usual turnaround time to resolve the issue. This means that you will also have to pay the courier fees for both sending back the defect item and receiving the replacement item. Any item that is reported as damaged after 14 days will not be accepted back.
9.11. If the return of goods for credit takes place after 7 days from the date of invoice (Up to a maximum of 30 days after date of invoice), then credit will still be considered however at the lesser value of 70% of the current sale price of the product or 70% of the original purchase price, whichever is the lower, provided goods are in a resalable condition, including all manuals, software and packaging. The acceptance of such credit us wholly at the discretion of zwaap.online.
EXCHANGE POLICY
10.1. In cases where you have placed a wrong order by mistake, be it size, type, quantity and the so forth – you may request item exchange within 10 hours of placing an order, and no extra handling fee will be charged.
10.2. When items have been packaged and already handled or collected for your delivery, 8-22 % charge for handling fee will be charged. This also applies if the items have already been delivered to you. We only accept sealed items in their perfect condition they were delivered in.
10.3. We can only be able to exchange your items if you report to us within 3 days.
ORDER CANCELLATION FOR REFUND
11.1. This section is about orders that have not yet been carried out for delivery. You might have a change of heart and decide to cancel within a few hours. Orders canceled for purposes of exchange or credit, will not affect the total amount that you paid.
11.2. There will be 7% cancelation fee for paid items and this will only apply to orders that were placed and processed in the last 10 hours. The 7% will cover the bank charges & small admin we have already executed.
11.3. When you cancel an order that was placed 15 hours ago, 17% handling fee will apply. Your funds will be processed back into your account within 3 days.
11.4. Some of the goods like furniture, arts & crafts items that have to be manufactured from scratch involve a lot of work and planning; therefore, you will be charged 20% fee for common items that can be easily sold to different clients and 40% for custom designed items that are made to your personal needs and will be hard to sell to other clients. If you replace your cancelation with a credit or exchange, a 10%-20% charge may apply.
11.5. Should your custom-made production be 80% complete, no cancelation can be performed, and this exception will apply on some of the items.
11.6. If you cancel for a refund within 3 days for common goods, 10% penalty will apply and 15% will be charged for custom design goods. The funds will be processed back into your own account within 7 days.
11.7. Some of the faulty consumables are non-refundable. This includes some stationery items, office accessories & electronic consumable. They may only be replaced or exchanged.
